Outcome Franchise-scale multi-market lawn care

The context

Augusta Lawn Care Services runs a growing franchise across multiple US markets — every unit needs a shared brand identity but a location-specific booking flow. This isn’t a single website; it’s a system that has to scale as new franchisees come online.

The problem

  • Franchise growth means new locations coming online every quarter — the site needs to spin up a new local surface without a dev sprint each time.
  • Every location has its own service menu, pricing tier, technicians, and mowing schedule — they can’t share one flat “services” page.
  • The central team wants brand consistency; local operators want autonomy over regional offers and seasonal promotions.
  • Customer intent varies wildly by location (residential vs commercial mix, seasonal work, snow removal in the north vs year-round mowing in the south).

What we built

  • Multi-location architecture — one WordPress install serving distinct location pages under a unified brand chrome, with per-location taxonomies for content overrides.
  • Location-aware quote flow: every enquiry picks up city context (nearest crew, pricing band, seasonal availability) so leads never route to a location that can’t service them.
  • Franchise-recruiting funnel on its own template — separate hero, FAQ, and enquiry form, kept off the customer path but SEO-optimised for “lawn care franchise” searches.
  • Service pages structured by category — recurring mowing plans, seasonal cleanup, landscape installation, snow removal, and commercial contracts.
  • Local content patterns: per-location hero photography, crew photos, and pricing bands so each city page reads native, not templated.

Technical decisions

  • WordPress with a custom multi-location taxonomy and page architecture.
  • Custom booking flow with location-aware routing (nearest crew, next available slot).
  • Location-specific reviews aggregated to each city page.
  • Structured data per location: LocalBusiness + Service + geo coordinates.
  • Separate franchise-recruiting funnel on its own template, tracked independently in analytics.

The outcome

Franchise operations get one admin surface, local operators get autonomy over regional offers, and customers land on a page that feels like it was built for their city — because it was. New markets go from “franchise signed” to “site live” in days, not weeks.
